Physical Therapy is the cornerstone of all treatments we offer in this centre. Finding the proper therapy and techniques for each patient is a challenge and a necessity in this profession. In order to do this, we count on professionals who posses prestigious qualifications not only in the technical side but also in terms of the human factor.
Manual therapy and all that it entails forms a part of our continuing education. We also count on other health professionals to collaborate with us in our centre.I’ve always been convinced that working in the field of health and well-being involves understanding the different aspects that make up a person. That’s why in 1994, I decided to study the Rolfing® method of Structural Integration. The education I received made me understand that a human being is more than just the sum of its parts.
Rolfing® is a therapy developed by Dr. Ida Rolf. It involves the manipulation of connective tissue and movement education, and it is based on the fact that the human body is malleable and subject to the force of gravity acting upon it. The technique is applied to the body’s myofascial structures in a series of 10 basic sessions that last approximately an hour and fifteen minutes.
